- The Life and Music of Marion Evans: Arranger to the Stars.
Instead of "Dancing with the Stars," how about making music with the stars! In his distinguished six-decade career -- which includes Grammy Awards and dozens of gold records -- music legend Marion Evans has arranged and composed music for icons like Judy Garland, Kate Smith, Tommy Dorsey, Benny Goodman, Count Basie, Eydie Gormé and Steve Lawrence, Carole King, and Sammy Davis, Jr., as well as his longtime collaborator, Tony Bennett. Most recently, he arranged five songs on Bennett’s platinum-selling, Grammy-winning 2011 album “Duets II,” including “The Lady Is a Tramp” with Lady Gaga -- which led to his involvement on their new jazz album "Cheek to Cheek," which sold the most CDs in history on HSN in one day! Don't miss the opportunity to hear amazing stories on the music business from the man who has seen it all, and who continues to make musical history.
He also did commercials with Tony and Lady for H&M clothing stores and Lady GaGa's perfume! The PBS special with Tony and Lady Cheek to Cheek was a smash so that's why this is coming in!
